Motor overload protection is a safety check that prevents the air cooler motor from getting damaged. This feature is aimed to help during sudden surge of electricity currents. Similarly, it also protects the motor in case the water gets finished.

Another new feature that modern coolers offer is the dedicated temperature display that shows the current temperature of the surrounding area.
